Terms of use

Museek is a free game offered as it is. Using it means accepting what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.

The game

One round is published per calendar day and the same round is served to everyone. Scores, streaks and statistics are a game feature, not a record of anything, and may be reset or recalculated — for instance if a song turns out to have been matched to the wrong recording.

Fair use

Please do not automate play, attempt to extract the answers before a round is over, or put load on the site beyond what a person playing would. We may block access that does any of these.

Music and images

Museek does not own, host or supply any music. Song previews and cover art are provided courtesy of iTunes and are streamed to your browser directly by Apple, under Apple’s terms, for the purpose of promoting the recordings. All rights in the recordings, compositions and artwork remain with their owners, and every song revealed in the game links to it on Apple Music. Museek is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple.

If you hold rights in a work featured here and want it removed, write to contact@museek.io with the song and the date it appeared, and we will remove it from the pool.

Chart data

Chart placements are read from Wikipedia and used under CC BY-SA, with attribution on the about page. Chart positions are facts.

No warranty

The game is provided without warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, a round may be missing, and a song may occasionally be wrong. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it.

Changes

These terms may change as the game does. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it.

Law

Museek is published from France and these terms are governed by French law. Nothing here removes any right you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
